Ah, thank you! I guess by 'not pretty' I mean that aesthetics is not my goal, just a happy by-product

This is true! I used to spend a LOT of time with kg panels and custom artwork trying to get everything to be 'just so', and was never really happy - plus my computer hated me for trying to kill it. these days, I'm happiest with spacious, informative, and lightweight :3
