Mastery, When is it too Much?

Just a question I'd like to pose, from reading different articles/guides, they always say that mastery eventually loses throughput to crit at a certain point, they have never said what that point is exactly as far as I have seen. I've accumulated quite a bit of mastery over the past couple of weeks and would like to know when I should start prioritizing another stat, or am I just being stupid by asking this all together?

I've read several guides that say the same thing. But as you said, they never said when crit becomes higher than mastery. As for having to much mastery now, I think you are fine.

Lets hope One of the theorycrafters will pop in here and tell us the number to watch out for with mastery.

You probably won't have to worry about it unless you are MT healing.

As you can see Mastery is still well ahead of Crit. Theoretically if you keep increasing mastery while your crit% remains the same, crit will eventually overtake mastery in value. The problem is you need higher level gear to get more mastery and higher level gear comes with more intellect which gives even more crit%, so it becomes a moving target that mastery is chasing.
