Heroic Staff or Maw/off-hand?

Hi guys,

Ever since getting the Maw of the Dragonlord (lfr), I have waffled between whether staying with my heroic Funeral Pyre staff or using that with the Ledger of Revolting Rituals offhand. I have forged everything so I remain just over the haste breakpoint at 2005 with both.

I'm not sure what to make of the results:

Heroic Funeral Pyre staff:

Int: 7048
Spirit: 3060
SP: 9671
Mana Regen: 5228

Maw of the Dragonlord (lfr) and Ledger of Revolting Ritual offhand:

Int: 7099
Spirit: 2884
SP: 9696
Mana Regen: 4995

I gain more spirit with my staff and with the mace I gain slightly more int. I am leaning toward sticking with my staff, but wanted some input on whether it's worth trading in for the mace with the healing proc and extra int.

The proc on the mace will be between 5-10% of your overall healing. (For me my LFR version runs ~5-6% of my healing every night). That's a lot of "free" healing. I would (and did) swap to the maw

I'm a little concerned about losing spirit but I can make up for that with reforging if I need to. I haven't used it in a raid yet so I needed to know if it would be a good idea
