How do you lifebloom uptime?

This is a kinda general question for the community on what tips/tricks do you use to keep a handle on your lifebloom uptime. When a serious bit of raid healing is needed, its easy to lose track and drop your bloom and then you're even further behind the 8ball having to build it back up. Stick to semi rigid GCD rotations? Use an audio queue with something like power auras? After doing nearly exclusively tank healing in 4.2, I need to get my groove back with raid healing and wondering what tips people have out there?

I use Power Auras. You can find my 3 stack string up in the sticky above. I have mine set next to my raid frames. I make sure to always try and refresh it on the tank with a nourish every 5 seconds. If I am unable to get it, I then I either make a decision based on how much damage the tank is taking compared to the raid.

If the raid is taking alot more damage, and the tank is evened out. I let it bloom. If the tank is taking damage and the raid is too, I lifebloom him once more (if there is not enough time to cast nourish, healing touch, or regrowth to refresh) to refresh it that way.

I have just been using vuhdo to track LB, and refreshing as necessary with regrowth ooc proc, nourish, or just recasting LB itself. despite the attention I pay to my raid frames, sometimes it still just falls off; then I get annoyed with myself >_>

I use two things, vuh'do and power auras. My power aura is right above my toon's head. I need to fix my harmony power aura though!

Yeah, that's exactly what I've done in the past, and while tank healing its kinda a no brainer I find myself getting quickly lost when its raid healing time. I think I'm going to grab foofy's power aura string and see if that helps, its too bad you can't assign sounds to arbitrary durations in power auras.

I use power auras for harmony and ooc, among other things, so I don't know why I haven't been using it for LB, too. going to work on that tonight (if I remember).

I mainly just keep track of Lifebloom through Healbot. I refresh with Nourish or if I'm in a hurry I'll just recast it. I also will sometimes refresh with Regrowth through OoC procs.

But you can! Sort of.
I have four LB power auras, one for each stack, and when that appears when there is no LB. It's big and red and makes an obnoxious sound when it appears.

It helps me, don't know if that's something that would work for you though.

No, that works well. I've used that idea to help with harmony but unfortunately with lifebloom you incur a two gcd penalty for letting it drop so an alert after it drops is not nearly as helpful as an alert say 3 secs before it drops.

You can do that!

You might have to edit it a little bit to get the graphic/sound you want, but this shows up when LB is at 3 stacks and has less than 3 seconds left.

I just show my lifebloom stack number and countdown timer within my VuhDo frames. I don't use anything else to track it.

I use Raven's buff tracker. Otherwise, I have an LB macro that casts to focus. So I don't need to switch to them or anything. (even though I use clique)
