Stacking spirit

How are trees feeling about stacking a bit more spirit this tier?

I haven't done much t13 yet, but the little I have done, I felt like I needed to use more Rejuv than I did in FL. If that's going to keep on, then I'm feeling like I'd should keep my spirit up.

With the WG nerf, everyone is feeling the pain of wanting to hit more Rej's. The good thing is, you are gaining more spirit with the new gear. Even if you use the spirit to reforge to mastery. It wouldn't be looked down upon if you feel you need to stack more than usual.

With your armory, you have a huge amount of spirit. So I really don't know what else to tell you. If you are finding mana problems, then you should take those 2 points out of Genesis and put it in to Furor for a bigger mana pool.

I'm feeling good about my mana so far, but that's just in LFRs. I've only had one run into a normal mode, but we were down 3 normal raiders, so it was a patchwork and didn't go so well.

I'm planning on dropping the Fiery Quint trinket as soon as a good static Int one drops for me, so that drops me down to about 2300 Spi. Incoming rant post about AFK LFR healer taking my Windward Heart!

I'm liking Genesis so far (just recently respecced into it), but I hear you about Furor if it turns out I need to go for more regen. I guess I should go for more than the gut instinct of it, but I felt like using Genesis was going to be a better throughput increase than reforging Spirit to Crit or Mastery. I'll take the math of that decision more seriously when my semester ends next week.

Overall I'm pretty happy with where I am, just wondering what the more progressed raiders were going for, regen-wise.

I'm sitting at 1712 and am working in heroic modes for DS right now. Definitely use up any and all mana I have on some fights, but I'm sure as people learn to stay out of bad stuff and I get used to timing the mechanics better, I will end up with more mana than I need.

Just did some Armory stalking of you.

It looks like my best throughput is going to be to reforge that Spirit to Mastery and go back to Furor.

Hmm, I have a ton more spirit than you guys, mostly from gear (and have even been reforging it to haste). I don't really have a mana problem, even though I have been using rejuv a lot. Wonder if I would get more out of it if I reforged some spirit into mastery.

If you are able to hold on to your haste cap, then reforging spirit - mastery is perfectly fine. Having increased in healing (harmony) is awesome :3

I definitely have some pieces where I can drop spirit in favor of mastery without affecting haste, so I'll give that a whirl for tomorrow's raid I think.

I actually bumped up my spirit a little bit this past raid week. While Intellect far surpases our spirit as our main regen stat - I found that I was uncomfortably out of mana after dropping my SoW and sitting sub 2k spirit going into this tier.

Ultimately, for this week, I opted to up my spirit a little bit to ~2200-2300 and drop my mastery down some. Additionally, I added the second point back into Furor. I can say that, for me, this worked out much better through our progression attempts and farmed content and I felt much more comfortable with my mana throughout the week. I think I will probably be sticking with this going forward, until such point that I find I have a flux of mana that I cannot spend by the end of fights, at which point I will likely start dropping spirit again.

I bumped up my spirit to about 2200 and went with 14.7 mastery. I was able to blanket rejuv. 6 out of 10 players on Blackhorn as well as keep other hots up, spot in regrowth on proc. and static nourish. We 2 healed blackhorn and as soon as people stopped running into stuff at half health we won.

I also went with your suggestion and we Two healed Ultraxion on 10 man. Mr. B you gave me confidence in myself. I kept everyone up and no one died. Was a really quick fight that way. And I had mana to spare.

I got a nice new stave. Visage of the Destroyer.
