I figured I would post this here since it is one of the most common talked about topics.

I also want to point out that you can have both Furor and Moonglow. However, if you find yourself ending with mana or that you feel you could use more output, then you always drop Furor first. If you have 0/3 in furor, that doesn't make you bad. I've seen it posted on the WoW forums that dropping furor is apparently a baddie move.

This is in fact FALSE. You can drop furor for Genesis, Living Seed, or any other talents you may want to pick it. As long as you are not dropping Moonglow first or to fill it back up.

The rest of the site with some more info. Pretty much at higher gear lvls furor provides a larger mana pool so abilities such as innervate yield a greater return as well as the revitalise talent. However Moonglow has the advantage over it if you are casting more spells. With the nerf to wild growth rejuv should b thrown out more with the occasional non ooc regrowth. I used to run furor and not moonglow and it was ok but couldn't really keep up the heals on longer fights. I have since changed to moonglow with the optional points in genesis, and find it much better, i am able to spam rejuves, and also cast some non ooc regrowths while in tree form, however to play this way you need to be agressive on your mana regen abilities, such as innervates and any trinkets you have.

Personally i m contemplating dropping the 2 pts i currently have in genesis and picking up 2/3 furor especially now for heroics. I m finding the bosses past morchok require some heavy healing esp vas. And any extra mana i can pick up would be great. However when i did this on our heroic rag attempts i felt like my heals were weak without that extra 4% periodic healing increase and swiftmend bonus.

At current gear levels ~390 ilevel the crossover point where Moonglow becomes better than Furor is approximately 7 minutes, and could be higher once fully decked out in BIS

From my spreadsheet, loaded in someone's ilevel 390 profile, then adjusted "Encounter Duration" until Moonglow and Furor have about equivalent IEP values for the Duration/Raid model
