Quick Offhand Question

I am wondering which is better. The Ledger of Revolting Rituals or the Dragonfire Orb? I never seem to get a crack at the Ledger when it does drop currently, but I do have the Orb.

From what I see Ledger has spirit and Orb has mastery. I am hoping for a crack at the Main Hand this week and all I have is the orb.

Spirit wise I'll loose a chunk going to the main hand/off hand, but the gear has so much that I can swap my reforging up a bit if I need it. I am currently running 2300 to 2400 spirit.

The Ledger is BiS for so many classses it isn't funny. The heroic version anyway. If you are doing normal, then I suggest just working with what you feel you need more of. Keep in mind, the ledger has a socket you can use, which makes the int much better than the random drop orb (if I am remembering the orb correctly)

The orb has a red socket too. At least mine does. Otherwise it is the ledger for spirit. As for heroics, we just started so not expecting one soon.

Now that the servers are up, I can finally look up the orb cause I'm terrible at remembering names.

The orb has 251 int with a red socket, mastery and haste
The Ledger has 251 with red socket and haste + spirit

The ledger reforged ends up with 166 haste, 69 mastery.
Orb has defaulted 157 haste, 170 mastery.

Both have the gem socket bonus of 10 int.

So, Orb depending on if you need spirit or not is good to hold on to until you have a chance at the heroic ledger due to the int upgrade. So you should be fine using the orb for a long time.
