Nice. I'd like to be a machinamator myself, but I lack the motivation, and the creativity (I'm severely lacking here), though I have all the time in the world! That and I know nothing about machinamating, it goes about as far as cheesy Moviemaker intros with fancy text on a black background.

I just use Sony Vegas and Wow Model viewer.
I don't think I'm good as other people, I just love to do this stuff. Its really simple for what I did. Just go in to wow Model viewer, get your model and fraps the screen of it with a bright green background. When in Sony Vegas, add video effect Chrom Keyer and choose green. This allows you to put a background to the model.
