| So my group did our first pulls of H Morchok last night, which was very frustrating to say the least as we consistently had ranged dying to 150k+ stomp damage. Can anyone confirm or deny that the second stomp soaker needs to be nearest to the tank rather than directly under Morchok/Kohcrom? For example, as ranged (healer) I would be group up with other ranged with our tank (pally) and soaker (DK) standing in the center of the boss' hitbox, yet I would be getting the double damage. One of the healers and our spriest in the other group were having the same issue. If it's as simple as the soaker standing on the tank in front of the boss, that would be handy to know. There is a thread on the WoW Forums http://www.worldoflogs.com/reports/68x6ii0i289k3grk/details/9/?enc=wipes&boss=55265 about the topic as well, but I'd love to get some opinions here as well. TIA. | |

| It is technically a random target within so much room + the tank. I've died to stomp while being in a group about 6 yards away with a rogue underneath sitting in his hitbox.
It happened last night. It sucked :<
100% - 0..I was like No WAI ><
But yeah. Its best to put the soaker in the hitbox, tank infront, and then move the ranged behind the tank by about 10 yards.

| Hmm, yeah, that's how we were arranged. Was kind of funny (at wipe 20, everything is funny) to hear my tank explode on vent because the DK was a few yards from the tank, center of hitbox, the rest of us were at least 10y behind the tank, and yet I got flattened. Welp, thanks for the input | |

| Np.
It just really sucked for me last night because I was doing so well on the meters (Trying to rank ). Then second stomp, instantly dead.
A dk ressed me so I had literally no health or mana. So I had to heal myself up. Innervate and pot and I was sitting around 10% mana from 80% - 0 :<

| Having downed this Boss last week, our group noticed a massive change between the fights. Last week the dmg put out from stomp to the melee soaker was huge we had a enhance sham and rogue in group who constantly died every pull after swaping out for 2 range classes this fight became incredibly easy just stay as far as 25yrds away and smoke it. This week completely different fight, massive damage going out across the board have to heal extremely quickly to top the raid up from a stomp before the crystal explodes. It takes some practice getting used to it but we failed all last night only towards the end were we getting the hang of it but there were some issues which were unavoidable and possibly bugged. The biggest being people who were 3 or last out from Morchok (or his bro) were copping bigger dmg than the soaker. This was a killer as all 5 party members were within the 25yrd range but the heaviest hit was randomly being taken by a party member 99% of the time resulting in death. After much rage we are giving heroics a miss this lock and with a couple of weeks off over chirstmas hope that blizz fixes some of the kinks still apparent on this boss. | |

| Ok, sounds very similar to what we were dealing with. Thanks for the input! | |

| https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nk0ALhtE ... ideo_title This is a 10m video of heroic morchok. The key you can see here is positioning. The range stack on the crystal and the tank positions the boss within range. It looks as though when the first crystal is spawned in the middle one of the groups will b designated to pick it up, from experience the Morchok group is best as his brother will stop while the crystal explodes, while the other group pulls their boss away. | |

| I just did this encounter the other day. We were 4 healers. One side had a rogue as the "soaker" and my side used our disc priest (he had more hp than me). He HAS to be closest to the tank, sometimes our hunter or me got in the way and took the hit. Its alot of moving around, the disc priest took the tank, and always stood close while he dragged the boss crazy around, while I took the hunter and shaman and went shard healing and stomp healing us 3. Worked like a charm and the boss was super easy as fast as we got the running around the boss and not into worked out Last kill we had a dk on "my" side soaking but a healer went just fine. A good tip is, you often have to wait for him to stomp (we splitted the dmg on the whole group but the disc priest took the 2nd hit) and then run up to the crystal, tank cant move boss during stomp casting and we just waited some seconds to get the hit before we all moved up. | |

| is it possible to solo-heal one side (Korchom I think hits less)? It doesn't look like it... there is no time for HOTs to top people between stomp and crystals, right? else Hpriest, RShaman, I was thinking on Hpriest solo heal (poh burst).
We were 4healing, and it was still a joke with the DPS, but I don't have any other healer (Yeah, I'm loosing the Holy Paladin, and thinking on taking his spot healing)

| doubtful at this time on heroic... You have tank damage, "off tank" damage, stomp and orb damage. Even if everyone did everything perfectly the damage intake is more than one healer can handle by themselves. | |

| It's definitely possible to 3 heal, we've been doing that the past few weeks. Just make sure that the Kohcrom side is the side solo-healed because that side takes less damage (3 stomps + 2 crystals between blood phases), and the Morchok side is 2-healed (4 stomps + 3 crystals) | |

| yes, I know it's solo-healable, but I don't know if it's solo-healable to a Druid. Pallys can do it, I know... but damn OP pallys HR fucking OP, Beacon and PotI... 3 casts, everyone topped
obviously solo-healable= 2 + 1 healers

| Any strats for single-healing a side (10man)
I'm following Beru's tips from 25man, but she is not alone, and has some bursting healers with her.
Blanket rejuv before stomp, SM on soaker after stomp, WG, HT on tank (I guess), and top people with HT on the GCDs left, but I think that's not enough to top people off before next stomp (and crystal). I'm with 4t12, so swiftmend heals 2 people. Maybe try to time Lifebloom's bloom after the stomp? but when do I stack it again'
I was thinking on using: Shieldwall on first stomp, Treen 2nd, 3rd free First free,Tranq on 2nd, Rallying on 3rd and then repeat
Tips? Any recommended spec? Living Seed and the one with more crit to Regrowth could work, right?
